The Fairies that flit and flitter and make their way to Canterbury need a place to live. Make your own Fairy House for our garden in the Enchanted Forest and be a part of the merriment at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival!
Rules
- Houses must have a maximum “footprint” of 12” x 12” x 12”
- Each house must include a blank 2” x 3” space on the front for an entry number sticker
- Limit two entries per household

Fairy houses become the property of the Kansas City Renaissance Festival upon drop off and they'll also be a part of the Fairy House Village scene during our Knights of Lights Holiday Festival in December.
Participate in the annual Outdoor Mural Competition for both children and adults. We encourage artists to find inspiration from life, global travels and the passage of time.
Themes
- Adults (13 +): Release the Kraken!
- Children's: The Pizazz of Pirates!
Rules
- Adult murals can be no larger than 4’x4′.
- Children murals can be no larger than 2’x2′.
- Murals must be on a weather treated material created with outdoor paint (or final mural must be waterproof sealed) as they stay outside on display during the entire Renaissance Festival.
