Trial by Fire |
The gates have just opened for the Harvest Festival in Canterbury. The King and Queen have entered to begin their festive day, the Lord and Lady Mayor are in attendance, the gypsies are dancing, all are ready for a merry day when suddenly disaster has struck. Our beloved Lee Lee, Leopold Bloom cried out. He staggered over and fell on the May Pole, slowly sliding to the ground, vomiting a strange pink substance onto the ground.
A cry went up and Leopold’s body was taken away. There was a pile of pasted beads and stones along with a tiny glass vial with a residue of golden liquid found lying on the ground where Leopold had fallen.
Everyone at the front gate is a suspect (which would be all the residents of Canterbury). Who would do such a foul deed and harm the beloved Leopold Bloom? The Maestro shall leave no stone unturned until the culprit is apprehended and punished for this most heinous of crimes.
